Is there any possibility to increase the height of a person
through naturopathy? I am 22 years old and want to increase
my height.
Dr. Subash: In my opinion, increasing the height of
a person below the age group of 27 years can be cent percent
possible. It needs well planned, scientifically designed programme
which includes physical exercise and diet.
Most of the people look short, because of the shortness of
their lower limbs or spine. If these two are tried with exercise
and yoga definitely you can increase your height. Contact
your nearest yoga therapist to learn yoga techniques.
Practice Surayanamaskar regularly.
Take germinated food more.
Rani : What
is the reason for abnormal menstruation? I have periods for
nearly 30 days at a stretch and nothing at all for next 6
months.
Dr. Subash: Dear Rani, your question needs more
information to absorb. Endocrine disorder is the reason normally
found in most of the mettrorahayin patients.
I need more information.
But, whatever may be the cause, naturopathy has excellent
results in treating this abnormal menstruation. Please provide
more details.

: How efficient is the weight loss medicines or foods
getting advertised in the market? Can we go for this to reduce
weight. Or do we have any food habit in naturopathy to lose
weight.?
Dr. Subash:Please
don't go for medicines by which you may develop dangerous
health problems.
Find the reason for your over weight. Worst food habit, sedentary
jobs, and endocrine disorder may be the reasons. Accordingly
you have to make your life style.This is the one and only
way to reduce weight.
Tips are: Avoid starch and fatty foods. (Remember rice is
the main source of starch), Non-veg is much source of fat.
White sugar is the top source of fat content even when compared
with non-veg.
06.00 AM - Hot Water and Lemon
06.15 AM - Onion toasted 7 nos.
06.30 AM - Raddish juice
07.00 AM - Ginger extract 2 spoons.
09.00 AM - Hot water + lemon
10.00 AM - Any baked food (tiffin)
11.30 AM - Raw vegetables - salad
01.00 PM - Lunch. Avoid roasted and fried. Eat little rice
and more raw vegetables
04.00 PM - Cabbage + tomato soup
05.00 PM - Tomato Juice
07.00 PM - Chappathy or any wheat foods.
Add spinach if you are obese due to endocrine disorder. Practice
yoga to shape your body.

Dr. Subash: Yes. 100 % possible through the following
few yogas:
Triconasana,
Paschimotasana,
Kukuthasana,
Sarvangasana,
Dhanuvasa,
Navasana,
Arthamatsyendrasana,
Uttanpadasana and
Suryanamaskar. .

What is the cure or preventive measure for hair falling?
Dr. Subash: Hair loss in women has many causes. Out
of which I am mentioning a few. 1. Hyperthyroidism, 2. Vitamin
and Mineral deficiency specially iron and 3. Over consumption
of Vitamin A and Other skin diseases like dermatitis.
DOs:
1. Take plenty of food rich in sulphur containing amino acid.
L-cystine and L-Methionine (e.g. Cabbage)
2. Take food rich in B Vitamins with Choline, Inosital (Excessively
found in beans, peas, brown rice, wheat germ, rice bran, mushrooms,
sunflower and spinach)
3. Vitamin C improves circulation in scalp (Passley, pepper,
brocolli).
4. Alfalfa stimulates hair growth.
5. Practice Sarvangasana, Matseyasana and Chakrasana.
