The basic techniques widely used in bead making are quite easy and simple. Let us start with the first and foremost technique. 

Pre-strung beads: Any type of beads can be pre-strung. Simply thread a needle and pass it through the beads. 

bead work Short Fringe 
Step 1. : Thread a needle in the fabric. 
Step 2. : Insert small glass beads in to the thread. 
Step 3. : Finish it by adding a drop bead at the end. 
Step 4. : Remember, the fringe should not be much longer or much 
Shorter. 
(Maximum of 10 beads can be inserted to make short fringe). 
bead work Long Fringe: 
Step 1.: Thread a needle in the fabric. 
Step 2. : Insert small glass beads in to the thread. 
Step 3. : Finish it by adding a drop bead at the end. 
Step 4. : Remember, the fringe should not be much shorter. 
(Minimum of 12 beads and maximum of 20 beads can be inserted to make long fringe). 
bead work Pointed Fringe 
Step 1.: Thread a needle in the fabric. 
Step 2. : Insert two small size bugle beads in to the thread. 
Step 3. : Stitch the thread in the fabric or make a knot in the fabric. 
Step 4. : Continue the process for the whole side. 
Step 5. : Remember, the stitch should be closer so that you will get pointed appearance. 
bead work Scallop Fringe: 
Step 1. : Thread a needle in the fabric. 
Step 2. : Insert small glass beads or sequins in to the thread. 
Step 3. : Stitch the thread in the fabric or make a knot in the fabric. 
Step 4. : Continue the process for the whole side. 
Step 4. : Remember, the stitch should be father apart not closer to get scallop like appearance.

Drop Fringe 
Step 1.: Thread a needle in the fabric. 
Step 2. : Insert a drop bead or a metal bead in to the thread. 
Step 3. : Stitch the thread in the fabric or make a knot in the fabric. 
Step 4. : Continue the process for the whole side of the fabric.
