Eggs
play an important role in Easter. perhaps It symbolises
new life and fertility. There are traditional egg games
associated with Easter. Let us see how to make Easter
eggs which represent the tradition for centuries.
Raw
eggs can be made ready for decoration in any of the
following two ways.
-
Hard boil the egg and allow it to dry.
Then start decorating your eggs.
-
The second way is to empty the inner portions of the egg.
Use a needle to punch a small hole in one end of the egg. Then make a slightly larger hole
at the opposite end. Make sure you damaged the membrane around the yolk. Hold a bowl under the end of larger hole, blow through the small hole. Once all the egg is out of the shell, rinse with water to
clean it well. Let it dry. Then start applying your
decorating skills.
If
you don't want to use real eggs, you may use egg shaped
objects. Say balloon, Blow it to desire shape, wrap it
with lace or satin ribbon and decorate with beads,
sequins etc,. You can have small sized eggs to giant
sized eggs.
You
can make your Easter eggs using wax. Melt paraffin wax
and add desired colour. Pour in an egg shaped mould.
After it gets cool and hard remove it from the mould.
Embed with dried leaves or flowers or seashells or give
any exclusive pattern.
