Uniqueness in his films |
According
to Jackie, the components of his films include:
- No bad language, no dirty jokes, and no sex so that
the entire family can enjoy his movies
- Lots of action with as little blood and violence as
possible
- Difficult stunts that are made to look easy and therefore
believable while still being spectacular
- A mixture of comedy and drama
- The bad guys always lose, and the good guys always win
- And an emphasis on what the human body is capable of
doing

Best fight scene |
The
fight between Jackie Chan and Benny "The Jet" Urquidez
in Wheals on Meals |
Injuries from fight scenes |
His
body has been bruised, battered, and beaten number of times
that even he can't remember them. His most serious injury
occurred during Armour of God, shot in Yugoslavia. On an "easy"
stunt, jumping from a ledge to a tree, he lost his grip and
fell. He landed headfirst on the rocky ground, with blood
pouring out of his ears. He was rushed to the hospital and
was hours in surgery. But he came through, and was soon back
to filming. |
