Kachiappa Sivachariar says, 'I see Your Lotus Face, those beautiful Eyes, those protective Hands everywhere in the Universe'. The entire world is the Viraat Viswaroopam of the Lord, Krishna's Paramaathma Swaroopam. We form various parts of this Form, like Gulliver and the Lilliputians. Gulliver is the only truth and Lilliputians are mere play-dolls. When you understand this, then like a wound in your toe causes pain to the entire body, you will feel the pain of anyone's suffering and everyone's misery.
You must start living for others. Then the world will have abundance of food, shelter and prosperity. Then why would there be disputes? There is so much space in this world. We can make a paradise of this world, planting more trees and building more houses. Everyone is bent on moving to urban places; no one stops to consider building houses on wastelands that abound -- under the excuse that there is no water. They leave behind their pastoral lands, employing people on wages to look after the land. If people become devoted and poojas are conducted properly in temples, then the state that Thirumoolar warned about - 'If poojas are not performed, there will be no rains; adversity will strike and theft will abound' – will change. You should imbibe more devotion, perform more poojas in temples and do a lot of charity and be just. Then there will be no place for famine in this world. The world will prosper. There will be excellent water resources, and we will attain the world that God created. People can move around anywhere, people can stay anywhere. Visas will not be required. No need for passports. Is there a greater illusion than having a half penny worth country borders, and stipulate visa and passport restrictions? Has God created any boundaries? Caught in the web of illusion, men have split countries, split time. People themselves created clocks. They have split countries into time zones.
Is time such a petty thing? 'Kaalan'–'Kaalam', Tamil 'Kaalam' is time, 'Kaalan' is Yama, the God of death. Time is synonymous with Yama. Yama's wheel (Kalan) and the wheel of time are one and the same. Your birthday brings you one year nearer to your death day. You do not know where you were before you were born. They gave you a name. What became of you after death? So who is that who has that name -- the body that existed for seventy or eighty years and then withered away? Is this the Truth? The Truth existed before, after and is there always. That is what life is for.
We have got this rare human birth to understand this Truth. But we are attaching importance to this body and losing what we actually have. We are retaining this body and losing the soul. When we are in consonance with our Soul, that is the Spiritual Oneness Vallalar speaks of. You are talking of globalization in the materialistic sense, globalization of worldly possessions. Our Sanathana Dharma discusses globalization of the Spirit; explains the concept that all souls are one.
Sanathana Dharma declares:
'All lives became mine, all the worlds came under my control'
'The Lord of ThiruAmbalam who is beyond everything, is also within me'
Our Dharma imparts the wisdom that God is everywhere and though God is beyond, He is within you and me. When this understanding dawns on you, you will have no wants. There will be no paucity of shelter, food, clothes. So lead a life of sharing.
It is this earth that is Vaikuntam. It is this earth that is Kailash. It is this earth that is the Garden of Eden. Not understanding this, you are assuming that life is hell and looking for some ladder to climb to heaven. Transform your thoughts and think on the lines I have spoken, you will understand that the
Earth itself is a Paradise created by the unparalleled Architect called God.
