Two reasons. I have understood that
every one of us is filled with the same
energy. It is the question of one
realising it and the other not realising
it. All of us are same. We are like the
waves of the ocean. Each wave is not
different from the other wave. The
taste, the colour, everything is same.
Some waves look smaller; some waves look
bigger. This is because of the
quantitative difference. Qualitatively,
you and I are filled with the same
Energy, same Divine Light. Quantitywise
whoever tries more, gets more. It is the
quantity in us, which makes us look big
or small. So if we work hard, we can
also increase the intensity of Light in
us. It is no one’s private property.
How can rain pour more in one place and
less in one place? How can the rays of
the sunchoose between a pure river and a
dirty river? How can air choose between
a good man’s nose and a bad man’s nose?
Nature treats everyone alike. We should
also follow suit, because we are part of
nature itself.
I do not find any difference in you. I
do not want anyone to worship anyone. I
do not want anyone to follow anyone. If
you find I have a better quality in me,
you can learn it. If I find a better
quality in you, I will learn it. If I
have something to give you, I will give
you. If you have something to give me,
we will share it. It is like you have
the jam, I have the bread, let us both
eat to our heart’s content.
All of us are the same. You have no need
to follow anyone. Learn something from
everyone. Every person you come across
may have something to teach you. Keep
your eyes, mind, ears open. And do not
follow anyone blindly; do not learn
anything blindly. There is an inner mind
guiding you; it will tell you what is
good, what is not. So follow your own
voice, because you are that. YOU ARE
THAT! Whether you know it or not, all
are divine; all are good.
It is a role that we have come to play.
In a given drama, somebody has to be a
hero, somebody has to be a villain,
somebody has to be a servant- - it is a
role you are cast in. And a good actor
will convert the smallest role into an
Oscar award performance. It is within
you to play it well. Anyone can get the
best actor award, provided he does his
part well. All are roles and in a given
drama, how can everyone play the role of
a hero? We need anti-heroes, we need
heroines, we need jokers; else the drama
will not be good. It will become
monotonous.
