Q.

In an office, there is one junior person and one senior. Both work hard. If the junior person comes with a good idea, he is not respected. If the same idea is given by a senior, people praise him for his ideas. Why is it happening that way?

If People assume that a person in higher position is wiser than others. They flatter them to get favours. From the junior, no favour is possible because he is a junior. From the senior you can get some rewards by increment, by promotion, a good reference for other jobs etc.. The whole world is generally a crow-catching exercise and they flatter people for their personal gains. It does not mean that they have respect for them. They may or may not.
