Rajini plays a role of a simple truck driver fighting
against an evil politician.The politician sends his
henchmen after him and they throw him off a mountain
cliff. A sage saves him and gives him a magic ring.
With the help of the magic ring , he can become invisible
and with this power Baba fights the corrupt politician
and removes him out of power.

and using it for commercial purposes is illegal.But

vehicles and banners of the fans clubs.
- Baba has also been
dubbed in Telugu in the same name.
- The song Maya Maya
was shot at Ramoji Rao studio.
- After the audio release,
there was a controvercy in the lyrics written by Vali
that refers to Periyar and Rajaji.Rajini made sure
to change the lyrics in the movie.
