Q: When will God relieve us of worldly distractions?

A mother arranges for toys that a child can play with - - a variety of toys to choose from. And then she will get back to her work - - cooking or washing. As long as the child is content playing, she does not concern herself with it. She knows the child is deeply engrossed with the toys. The moment the child gets bored with playing and wails for its mother, she casts aside whatever work she is doing and runs instantly to the child’s side.

That is what God does. He has created several diversions in this world - - marriage, wealth, children, property etc., for you to be pre-occupied. The moment you get frustrated with the world and cry out for God, it takes just a split second for Him to take you into His Protective Fold.
